Major/Minor/Concentration: Biology Major
Interests: Dancing specifically Hip Hop, listening and playing music, watching Netflix, Social Justice Activism specifically in the LGBTQ+ and Asian community and intersectionality between all groups of people, eating, cooking, partying at clubs/bars, traveling, film and editing.
Fun Fact: I have only had 2 stitches my whole life… which are on my right thumb. In my 7th grade science class, I was learning about microscopes. We were doing a lab where we took newspapers and looked at how the letters were magnified. While handling the microscope slide, I cut my thumb with the slide. I was taken to the hospital and learned that the slide had almost cut the radial artery that ran through my thumb! Interestingly enough, I’ve gotten back on the horse and the stitches made me more determined to be a scientist.
What else would you like to share?
I identify as a Taiwanese American cis-female from Brentwood, TN. I love science but I am also very interested in the arts through dancing, filming and editing, and music. I hope to be able to challenge social inequalities through the art of film making and self-expression. I love to dance to good music so you’ll definitely find me on the dance floor. I am also the Vice President of Dance Ensemble, the coordinator for B.E.S.T. (Believing Everyone Should Try), where we teach dance to special needs adults and children. Interests: Found my gay disney prince. Although I feel like a peacock among chickens sometimes around my fellow classmates, I have discovered my better half and he has swept me off my six inch heels to our kingdom. Basically I’m all set and ready to retire happily.
Fun Fact: One time, I left my vibrator, his name is Sebastian, on and forgot about him. The next morning I saw that he had burned a hole in my bed sheets. One good rinse and Sebastian was good as new. But I still had to buy new bed sheets.
What else would you like to share?
I may not look like it, but I am the rainbow phoenix just ready to spread my wings and make all my haters burn with a fiery passion of love and acceptance. Yes, my goal is to turn all my haters into lovers.

Interests: eating chicken tenders, reading the huffington post (obsessively), venturing to clubs and exploring the nightlife, law and politics, and watching netflix!
Fun Fact: When I was in preschool I wanted to be a merman. Like as a career. When my classmates drew pictures of themselves being firefighters, teachers, doctors, etc, and I drew a picture of me underwater with a tail.

I’m from Charlotte, NC, but have spent part of my life living in Los Angeles. On campus I am in College Democrats, I volunteer with E.P.I.C. (ending poverty in charlotte), and I’m a tour guide! My goal is to eventually have a career in political law and be part of the judicial system (no, it’s no longer to be a merman). AND i’m so excited to be involved in Q&A this year!

Fun Fact:
I have an intense neck scar that people ask me about. It brings me great joy leading them completely astray in what actually happened. So far, I have convinced various people that I obtained it by a) getting punctured by a branch when falling out of a tree, b) being held at knife point for ransom, and, my favorite, c) being attacked by a cheetah because my mom used to be a zoo keeper (she actually was a zoo keeper, cheetah thing maybe not tho).
What else would you like to share?
I'm really excited about being on e-board this year, mostly because it gives me an opportunity to connect with a lot of amazing people on campus. I'd love to hear any ideas on events for next year or answer any questions about what we do/suggestions on how to make it better. Fun Fact: So I had this haircut one time. The guy messed up my hair and I wasn’t going to say, “You messed up my hair.” Because I’m an angel, you know. So I told him I was feeling like getting a new style and asked him to just shave all of my hair off. Been growing out my hair ever since for the past three yeas and it’s the best decision I ever made.

I identify as a Vietnamese American transperson and as a first generation student at Davidson College. Of course this is not all that I am and I welcome anyone who wants to get to know me better.
